Teachers Salary Subsidy (TSS)
S.Y. 2023-2024 New Applications
Application shall be done online. Failure to submit application form with requirements on time shall forfeit your chance to avail the subsidy.
TSS 2324 ONLINE APPLICATION DEADLINE: Friday, March 1, 2024
A) Application Status:
– Old Recipients are those who received TSS last school year 2022-2023.
– New Recipients are first time applicants or TSS recipients from school year 2021-2022 or earlier.
B) How to Apply:
a) Old Recipients:
1. Before preparing your requirements, check if your PRC ID will expire on or before March 31, 2024.
a. If it WILL NOT EXPIRE before March 31, 2024 and the PRC ID that you submitted in SY 2022-2023 is UPDATED, there is no need to prepare and upload your requirements in the form anymore.
b. If it WILL NOT EXPIRE before March 31, 2024 BUT you need to submit an updated PRC ID, prepare and upload it in this form.
c. If it WILL EXPIRE on or before March 31, 2024 and you have not renewed it yet, prepare and upload alternative requirements.
b) New Recipients:
1. Prepare requirements.
2. Duly accomplish the online form at https://jhs.addu.edu.ph/applytss
3. Upload requirements in the form
4. Click submit
C) Requirements:
– Prepare ONE (1) PDF file that contains a CLEAR COPY of the requirements that fit your status.
– Preferred File Name: FamilyName.pdf
1) FRONT & BACK PHOTO OF UNEXPIRED PROFESSIONAL TEACHER LICENSE or alternative:
– License must be renewed before the TSS application deadline.
– Alternative:
a) PHOTO OF APPLICATION FOR PROFESSIONAL IDENTIFICATION CARD (PIC) with an appointment date (for those who are currently processing their new/renewal license applications)
b) PHOTO OF CERTIFICATE OF RATING (for those who recently passed the Licensure Examination for Teachers)
2) Additional Requirement for MARRIED FEMALE TEACHERS whose Licenses / Certificate of Rating bear their maiden names: Clear photo of Marriage Contract.

Program Description
Teachers’ Salary Subsidy (TSS) is a DepEd program that aims to improve the quality of participating private junior high schools in the ESC by providing an annual salary subsidy to qualified teachers. Such teachers are called TSS recipients.

This school, the Ateneo de Davao University Junior High School, is receiving financial subsidy for the EDUCATIONAL SERVICE CONTRACTING (ESC) and TEACHERS’ SALARY SUBSIDY (TSS) from the government through the Department of Education. (DepEd Order 20 s. 2017).
Ateneo de Davao University Junior High School is an ESC-participating JHS.
The PEAC has been contracted by the DepEd to administer the ESC and TSS programs.
Teacher Eligibility
1. PRC licensed teacher
2. Teaching ESC grantees
3. At least 1 teaching load in CLE, English, Filipino, ITLE, MAPEH, Math, Science, Social Studies, Library Instruction Program and Psychology Education
4. Full-time employee of ADDU JHS
Computation of TSS
1. For teachers teaching 10 months or more, the full subsidy of Php18,000 is given.
2. For teachers teaching 9 months or less, the computation shall be Php 1,500 x number of months teaching = TSS subsidy amount.
Releasing of TSS
Amount to reflect in the TSS recipient’s payroll after the end of each school year. For teachers whose employment status is not active (on-leave/resigned), they may contact Ms. Renee Rose Cortes of the Finance office at (082) 2212411 local 8282 to request for a check for TSS payment.
TSS Payroll for S.Y. 2022-2023
It is a document manually signed by TSS recipients of the previous school year to acknowledge receipt of the subsidy which was posted to the payroll last July 30, 2023.

FYI: After Dec 31, 2023, PRC shall require CPD units upon renewal. Please set your renewal appointment before Dec 31, 2023. You can already apply for renewal at least 1 year before expiration. Thank you!
