School Personnel

Principal

The Principal is the chief administrative and academic head of the Junior High School. He/She is responsible for the execution of academic policies, for the enunciation and achievement of the educational goals of the school and for the coordination and proper functioning of the units which constitute the Junior High School. The current Principal is Fr. Michael I. Pineda, S.J.

Assistant Principal for Academic Affairs

The Assistant Principal for Academic Affairs is tasked to assist the Principal in the various works related to the administration and supervision of the academic affairs and progress of the Junior High School. He/She supervises with the Subject Area Coordinators in the implementation of established academic policies and procedures. He/She also supervises the Instructional Media Center (IMC) Coordinator for the maximization of the IMC resources to enrich instruction. The current Assistant Principal for Academic Affairs is Mrs. Camila V. SamblaceƱo.

Assistant Principal for Administration

The Assistant Principal for Administration is tasked to assist the Principal in all administrative matters of the Junior High School. The current Assistant Principal for Administration is Mrs. Alma Raymonda S. Bartolata.

Assistant Principal for Formation

The Assistant Principal for Formation is tasked to assist the Principal in the over-all operation of the Junior High School in matters relating to the formation of administrators, faculty, staff, and students. He/She supervises the Campus Ministry Office (CMO) Coordinator, Student Development Center (SDC) Coordinator, Sports Office and the Coordinator for Student Activities (CSA) in the implementation of established formation programs, activities, policies, and procedures. The current Assistant Principal for Formation is Mrs. Excesima L. Pasilan.

Registrar

The Registrar is responsible for the maintenance and storage of scholastic records and other documentation for both incoming and outgoing students and ensures that the school operates in accordance with the guidelines and regulations of the Department of Education. The current Registrar is Mrs. Ma. Carmela S. Abay.

Chaplain

The Chaplain shall be responsible for the organization, implementation, supervision, and evaluation of the sacramental celebrations of the Junior High School. The current Chaplain is Fr. Manuel B. Perez, S.J., M.D.

Executive Assistant to the Principal

The Executive Assistant to the Principal is tasked as Office Manager at the Principal’s Office. He/She assists the Principal. The current Executive Assistant to the Principal is Ms. Helen Grace B. Pulido.

Faculty and Staff Development Coordinator

The Faculty and Staff Development Coordinator shall be responsible for the creation, implementation, and evaluation of the Faculty and Staff Development Program. This program shall include the training of probationary teacher, as well as the formation of the tenured faculty and staff in order to address their professional and social needs. The current Faculty and Staff Development Coordinator is Mrs. Marinar F. Castro.

Subject Area Coordinator

The Subject Area Coordinator shall be responsible for the development, organization, implementation, supervision, and evaluation of the academic programs in his/her subject area.

Grade Level Coordinator

The Grade Level Coordinator shall be responsible for the organization, implementation, supervision, and evaluation of the school programs in his/her grade level, monitoring student performance.discipline and coordinating with other administrators or with the teacher/staff regarding grade level activities.

Prefect of Discipline

The Prefect of Discipline shall be responsible for the organization, implementation, supervision, and evaluation of student discipline. The current Prefect of Discipline is Mr. Nathaniel M. Limbo.

Student Development Center (SDC) Coordinator

The Student Development Center (SDC) Coordinator is tasked to assist the Assistant Principal for Formation for the organization, planning, implementation, supervision, and evaluation of the Guidance/Counseling and Homeroom Programs. The current SDC Coordinator is Mr. Carlo D. Guiang.

Campus Ministry Office (CMO) Coordinator

The Campus Ministry Office (CMO) Coordinator is tasked to assist the Assistant Principal for Formation in matters relating to spiritual formation of the students, faculty, administrators, and administrative associates (non-teaching personnel). The current CMO Coordinator is Mrs. Hiedee E. Elio.

Coordinator for Student Activities (CSA)

The Coordinator for Student Activities is tasked to assist the Assistant Principal for Formation in the organization, planning, implementation, supervision, and evaluation of the student activity programs of the School. The current CSA is Mrs. Rosemar E. Bataller.

Sports Officer

The Sports Officer is tasked to assist the Assistant Principal for Formation in the organization, planning, implementation, supervision, and evaluation of the sports program of the school.

Instructional Media Center (IMC) Coordinator

The Instructional Media Center (IMC) Coordinator shall be responsible for the organization, planning, implementation, supervision and evaluation of the instructional media programs. The current IMC Coordinator is Mrs. Isabel E. SosmeƱa.

Physical Plant Supervisor

The Physical Plant Supervisor is tasked to oversee and manage all matters related to the physical plant and security concern of Ateneo de Davao Matina Campus. The current Physical Plant Supervisor is Engr. Noah A. Bubod.

Ecoteneo Director

The Ecoteneo Director designs the Eco Solid Waste Management (ESWM) Program upon consultation with the Principal and/or the A-Team as AdDU-JHS responds to the thrust of environmental protection and preservation. He/She implements and evaluates the program through the ESWM Point Person and ESWM committees and in close coordination with the Assistant Principal for Administration and the Administration Cluster. The current Ecoteneo Director is Ms. Carmela Marie M. Santos.

Coordinator for Admissions, Aid, and Alumni Affairs

The Coordinator for Admissions, Aid, and Alumni Affairs implements and evaluates the policies and programs related to admissions, scholarship aid and alumni affairs. The current Coordinator for Admissions, Aid, and Alumni Affairs is Mr. Earl Ian S. Uy.
